Obj! I LOVE this!! Very well executed!

I usually don't like these bit this was very well done!

Saw this on FM! Excellent shot.

Is this a composite or did you have all the characters in the shot all at once?

Thank you all!!!

This was done all in 1 shot. I lit them up with 1 giant soft box on a boom and a bunch of reflectors.

This is totally great.
3 suggestions
  • crop same aspect ratio from l,r and top, to put the center subjects head on the top third.
  • local area enhancement (USM, radius 50-70, amount to taste) to give her more pop.
  • warm it slightly
(I tried these and it looks even better, I think.)

To each their own I guess, that's why we all shoot differently. Thanks for the suggestion, The_Traveler. :)

This is awesome! I really, really like the idea and the set time and make-up you put into this. I can't help but wonder what the HDR treatment would do to something like this. I would love to see more of these shots. Very fun!

HDR? Really?

I don't see any way HDR would improve this shot. Actually, I wouldn't change a thing.

excellent work!
I guess MY only nitpic on this is the yellow cord that the "chandelier" is hanging from.
maybe try a clear mono filament line. or was that part of the vision?
I just find it a tad distracting.

Looks like a Tool album! Sweet shot!

Pixmedic, we had fishing lines but wanted a more visible line so it doesn't look like the chandelier is floating. :D
