Snapped this one yesterday. I won't post up every single picture I take, but I though this one was pretty cool and it got a good response over on vwvortex. Anyway, here it is... :thumbup:

Great camera perspective.

To over-processed for my tastes. No doubt it's dramatic, but the scene doesn't support that kind of drama.

The sky looks particularly bad/un-natural with the blown out, no details left, parts of the clouds and the surreal shades of blue.

Is that wetland or a wall next to the road?

+1 Way overcooked. I'd like to either see the side of the car lit facing us if its a subject, or remove it from the photo as a distraction if not. But don't pay me any mind anyway =)

At first glance it looks great and it is a great stand alone picture but it does look alittle overdone on the sky to me. Other than that i would say and picture full of drama and effect. congrats

The car was definitely the subject in this picture haha. I agree that seeing the side of the car that is lit would make the shot better, but I liked the the shadow of the car in there and the general composition of the shot.
All the way to the left is the ocean, and just before that, what does look like a wall, those are actually dunes covered with tall grass, hard to make out I know :mrgreen:.
The original picture before I edited, seemed a bit boring, this version was a bit more exciting to my eye. I agree the graininess that came out with the sharpening doesn't look very good, but I do still like how dramatic it looks. Im still learning how to edit

Perfect scenario where I'd use HDR. All you needed is more detail on the shadow side of the car to make it pop. It also would have helped to keep the clouds a bit more realistic than processing them so much. Nice perspective.

Haha its okay I am too. The clouds are pretty blinding at the top of the picture.
