Too much table, distracting background and weird focusing.
I would take this in a much darker room, where shadows fall on the out of focus parts of the amplifier, giving a more natural look and selection to the focus area. Be careful with lighting and focus, and pay attention to composition. Maybe put it on top of a black cloth? A mess of cords?
I think the perspective should also remain flat, not going up slightly. Ether that, or throw the corner of the amplifier right into the corner to draw attention to the movement. Lots of things to try out here I thing.
You could even make it a bit more interesting by slowing down the exposure and adding some movement to the needles, and allowing a bit of motion blur to show up in your creation.
