His pose is great for the second one, but I still haven't gotten the color to where I want. He looks a little washed out, and I haven't figured out why yet. I may start over with the edit.

On the second one, he definitely is washed out and the grass looks too yellow ... if it's more than an easy adjustment/fix ... go B&W (that's what I do when the color turns on me - ).

Yeah, I'm still playing with the color version...but here's the conversion

If your using the Fuji, try the classic chrome simulation. I have gravitated towards it, especially when people are in the frame. You can tweak it and create a custom simulation as well. Fuji provia std simulation is fine but I prefer either the 400H or chrome with people. I love (chrome) the earthy tones and wonderful flesh color it produces. It also calms down the green, yellows, and reds.
