Thanks for your comments, good to see the different approaches. Usually I try not to overdue it and 407370's results are definitely a little extreme for my taste.
However I liked the result of my initial attempt and I will probably continue going out of my comfort zone and over-process one or the other pic to see what impact it can have.
I never used the ALT key with the clarity slider, Braineack. I have to give it a try!
