- Can others edit my Photos
- Photos OK to edit
I know this topic gets batted around semi-frequently and there are basically two camps on this. One says it is ok to use a single RAW, others say you must bracket the photos at camera. After reading up on the subject I am in the second camp...it requires more than one exposure at the camera. The purpose is to capture more dynamic range than a single photo can, so by definition it requires more than one shot. "Pseudo" HDR is not HDR...but that doesn't mean the results aren't good, it's really the tone mapping that gives it the pop.
If you can, find a subject, shoot it bracketed at camera and then also process it from just a single RAW and look at the difference.
