Ordered vagabond mini from paul c buff shipping calclations problem

Ok so I ordered the vagabond mini a week ago. I was doing some calculations and may have discovered a small ripoff depending on where you live in canada.
Ok so when you order there are 2 types of shipping options for canada. There is the standard ups ground and ups worldsaver. Worldsaver claims to save you the hassle of suprising over the top brokerage fees but it does not cover the gst or pst in your province. Lets do the math.
Worldsaver option: Item+shipping=$369 plus another $28 for gst and pst(hst in some provinces). That's a total of $397
Standard ground ups: item $239, shipping $34, taxes and brokerage $92(I called and checked). Thats a total of $365
I don't know what it's like for other places in canada and other items but here in B.C. if you are ordering the vagabond mini, the worldsaver option doesn't save you anything.

Yikes! I bought that same Vagabond Mini last year for about $270 including tax and shipping. Sorry to hear about your difficulties, man.

Guess that goes with the territory when you order internationally. That stinks.

On the bright side, you'll LOVE the vagabond mini! Compared to other choices, it does a splendid job at a faction of the cost of some of the other options...

ummm yeah send that over to me and i'll get right on that lol. sucks to hear that. im wondering if allot of those are estimated where depending on where you are its cheaper but a few places wind up getting screwedd over like in your example.

I'm wanting to place an order for one of these bad. everytime i go out and have to leave it at home it annoys the heck out of me.

My guess is some of that cost is for providing the service and removing the hassle from your end. One stop shopping is always a bit more expensive than piecing it out.
