Oregon Coast...

I was shooting on the Oregon coast on Christmas eve. I really like this one, despite the blown out area of water on the lower left:

For me the reflection on the water is just WAY to much. I would say use a polarizer.

I think this shot would look better with a substantial portion of the sky at the very top eliminated; the sky itself, and the aspect ratio of the image, are not quite optimized, I think.

A border or frame around the image would also probably add impact. I'm familiar with that kind of specular reflection issue on ocean waves...I don't mind it that much either Steve.

Did you shoot this in raw? May be able to squeeze more juice out of it.

Try editing the pic (preferably raw file) in photomatix. That might help lower brightness of lower left part of image and also highlight some detail of rocks which are appearing very dark now.
