A few months ago I assisted a friend on one of his shoots on the Oregon Coast, and on the drive home we passed a beautiful scene during sunset. I didn't have my main camera on me that day, but my iPhone 12 was more than capable of capturing this beautiful scene.

Honestly the photo does not do proper justice to what the scene looked like in person. It was stunning.

Spending a lot of time outdoors myself, I know exactly what you mean. A 2D image can never fully represent 3D space. But it can still be the best 2D representation of 3d space.
