Original Color, Faded, or BW?

Wife was driving thru Guernsey Nebraska and I was bored. Poked my camera out the window and shot this- for some reason I rather fancy it.

Original image (with horizontal power line still there) has nice color.

Is the faded antique color better?
BW?

What say you?

The photo is somewhat underexposed.
The B&W lacks contrast.
I fixed the exposure using ACR.
In Photoshop I used a B&W Adjustment layer to selectively brighten or darken the colors each slider controls.

Can't help the banding/posterization in the sky because I edited a copy of the 8-bit depth, 3" or so wide photo you posted.

It does lack depth. It's very minorly underexposed, but it seems to be rather flat color wise. Also, the composition isn't the best-the subject isn't clear. Is it the stop sign? The Purina logo? The building? There's a lot that could be the subject, but it isn't exactly clear here.

Remember, CC is meant to be that-CC, not mean.
