Osprey against smoky sky

Wasn't sure how to handle the smoke in post and what I did made them a bit noisy. My clumsy attempt at reducing the noise made these a bit soft, but I still like them well enough.,

While there may not be much you can do about the smoke, the shots themselves are terrific.

Very nice shots. If your using LR I wonder if the dehaze would have worked with the smoke. Worth a try.

I did use dehaze and it worked quite well, but it darkens some what and then increasing exposure and lightening shadows increases noise. these are also huge crops.

Try just decreasing contrast after you up the dehaze instead of lightening shadows.
