Osprey and Canvasback

The canvas back was relaxing on the far side on this dead tree. Hiding from the walkway. He didn't seem to mind as Jr and I walked out to the point to get a better view.

P.S. in Canada, even our ice has ballz. lol

We also saw our first osprey today. Safe bet is he saw us as well.

We got lucky. We were walking and all the gulls took flight. Jr. looked up and it was just there, in front of us.

It was busy scouting all of the gulls and ducks that were around us. Probably not to happy that we were there which stopped it from being able to strike.
