Osprey and Canvasback

[zombiesniper148 13]

The canvas back was relaxing on the far side on this dead tree. Hiding from the walkway. He didn't seem to mind as Jr and I walked out to the point to get a better view.

P.S. in Canada, even our ice has ballz. lol

We also saw our first osprey today. Safe bet is he saw us as well.

Nice shots, nice angle on the Osprey.

I have seen Ospreys for about a week now. Unfortunately, I have not seen a sharp and clear Osprey

Thank you.

We got lucky. We were walking and all the gulls took flight. Jr. looked up and it was just there, in front of us.

Great shots.

Thank you.

Very nice. I guess the Osprey should start building their nests soon?

Thank you.
Yes, it shouldn't be too long.

Very nice! The picture of ice on the stump has caused me to reconsider bitching about the weather here.

[Fujidave]

Nice shots, love the angle of the Osprey that is looking right at you.

Thank you.

Two excellent shots.

Thank you.

Nice shots! The osprey doesn't seem to happy your invading his turf. Or maybe he doesn't like having his picture taken.

Thank you.

It was busy scouting all of the gulls and ducks that were around us. Probably not to happy that we were there which stopped it from being able to strike.
