Osprey with seafood dinner

Can't see the picture; something's messed up with your link.

It's best to embed the picture in your post anyway--people don't tend to like clicking links, particularly from newcomers.

Look forward to seeing the pictures; welcome to Hotel TPF!

Nice. He looks angry, like he just came out of the dryer!

Should be able to view photo. Sorry...

I think you went a little overboard on the "shadow protection" or whatever the software you use calls it when you artificially brighten the shadows. You have created a lot of noise in the dark feathers and you are missing out on a lot of contrast and detail because of that.

I think this has a chance to be a cool shot, but your post processing has really hurt this photo.

Uh... BEAUTIFUL. Honestly, my opinion is that it's edited beautifully.

^ I dont want to say if you think that then your eyes are messed up...so I will just say that your monitor must NOT be displaying photos correctly.

OP- Can you post the original shot, straight out of the camera?

He does look fluffy! That is a cool shot, but I do see the noise that was mentioned.

I actually see what Parker see's. Somewhere you went over the top. Great capture though.

I agree with parker219... I shot this raw but I have since discarded the original photo. The shadows were a bit overdone...

Oh man. Did you delete it in error? That shot would have been a certain keeper.
