Our First Hummingbird!

Last December we ripped out our front yard, we re-landscaped with critter friendly plants. Now that spring is doing it's thing, we are starting to get bees, butterflies, and birds. We got our first hummingbird this week and we are so pleased.

great shots! They're my favorite. I have feeders since I'm in a condo. I have a window feeder and they are here year-round. I regularly see them up close and they are magical little things. Nice job

Really are fun to watch. Trying to spend more time on the front porch and less time in front of the TV.

Looks really good Jeff! I especially like #1. Since we live in the middle of the woods grass, shrubs, and flowers are things we cannot grow - so we put feeders out for the Hummers. Our first one showed up last week where the feeders normally hang. We immediately hung the feeders out. These birds have incredible memories.

Thanks Panda, we mostly have sparrows, doves, the occasional mockingbird and bluejay, so this is a treat for us.
