Thanks, These are the 5D MK III in camera HDR. What I'm having trouble understanding is how to edit these in CS6. Doing the regular merge to HDR gives me the bridge to make the adjustments. I can't find that opening the single image.

I suggest not using ps for tone mapping its really quite horrible... You should use photomatix

Start with the basics first, play with HDR and such later.

These are mostly snapshots- quick memories that will serve well as just what they are- memories. They lack much in the way of artistic representation. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but we tend to focus on doing something more here at TPF.

I'm not sure what you meant by that, but it was funny either way.

I'm just another random jerk on the internet, but I've gone beyond overly straining myself to keep people from having hurt feelings. Most folks who get all hot and bothered seem to be just defensive. Defensive doesn't tend to work that well around here, so... meh.

Anyway, you demonstrated a sense of humor instead of bristling and attacking me, so I'll put a bit more effort in... what I said was genuine and meant really only to help. I was serious that the community at TPF mostly tries to help everyone grow as artists. There are forums out there where you can post almost any image and get a "Hey, wow, nice job!" but TPF isn't that... at least not currently.

There are forums that have a much higher population of very serious artists than TPF where you might be able to grow even more as an artist than here, but the traffic and activity level around here is sort of addictive.

So my point was there's nothing wrong with your shots if they make you happy, but held up against the usual criteria here they will tend to be called "snapshots". Nothing special from an artistic perspective.

So, there... whether pretentious or not, that's more specifically (and hopefully clearly) what I was trying to say.

I guess I should have put the smiley in the first time. I absolutely appreciate the CC. I am definitely not the type to get upset over some honest critique. I don't claim these to be great either, I was more caught up with the novelty of the in camera HDR of the 5D MK III. Landscapes and buildings aren't really my "thing" so I'm always open-minded.
