Wow, that is an impressive sky in the last shot! That's my favorite of the set.

@limr, thanks. You're not the only one who has a preference for that shot which surprises me a little as I thought most would go for the colour. It was shot the same evening as no. 3, (there were only two good sunsets during the brief tour this year), and as you can se the sun was obscured before it set so I turned the camera on the very interesting clouds to the sides.

@WesternGuy, thank you. The colours shift and change slowly so plenty of time, even for me, to get a good shot. ;-)

I don't know about the others who chose that as a favorite, but I generally prefer the subtle colors to the more dramatic ones, and I really liked the more unconventional composition. The sky was clearly the focus, but the silhouetted houses and that bit of water gave it context and mood.
