I have had a couple of photo sessions outside of the friends/family circle, that I made money on.

Paid job means time to stop using the beginners gallery.

Word. Getting paid and making money are not the same thing.

The first couple are cute, but the leaves are to busy for the concept to work well, and the hands not being in the DOF looks like a mistake.

The B&W doesn't work for me with the other 2 people cut in half. A vertical shot having everyone in it would have been much stronger.

Faces, faces, faces. Recognizing faces one of the first skills we learn. If the babies head had been in the DOF, maybe.

The texture on the baby face photo and the composition don't work for me, but the baby has a great expression.

The last is a good example of the need for fill lighting.

Just in case - DOF = depth-of-field
