Hi, I'm new here so I hope this post is in the right place...

Over 1300 photos and 110 hours later I completed this stop motion animation.
Please go nuts, tear it apart, tell me what you would have done differently. Ask me any question about how I did it etc.

Gear I used:
Canon EOS 60D
11-16mm f/2.8 tokina
28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 canon Ultrasonic
50mm f/1.8 canon prime fantastic plastic (I love this lens!
Interfit 150W flash heads /w stands, softboxes, etc etc
Velbon CX640 tripod
Gig T Pro II wireless shutter release

I liked it for what it was, a lot of hard work. Couple things I didnt like(haha you know this is coming on this website) it was really dark with lots of shadows. hard to see the action. Also, the words written on the stickey notes were too small. I had no idea what any of those words were and they moved by way too fast to read them.

but hey, other than that, great job! :)

Thanks for the feedback dude,

Yeah it was always going to be difficult getting the lettering to stand out because I wanted a certain amount of room to play with in the shot. This mean the wider the angle the better right? But ofc, the wider the angle the smaller things get. Plus for that scene with the post its I had the camera point almost straight down on the tripod. So I had to be careful not to get the legs of the tripod in there aswell.. Also, with the camera pointing straight down I was getting focus creep, so I ended up using the 50mm prime and taping the focus ring in place lol.

Again, the movement... not really much I could do with it. The track had already been wrote and things had to happen by a certain time. Apart from re-writing the music and re-shooting entire scenes I was kinda stuck with what I had.

But still... you're absolutely right. I have learned my lesson haha.

Please, any more.. it's all good for me, even the bad stuff. :-P

nice! Loved the clay work!

very interesting!

Amazing! Congrats :)

Many of the shots appeared OOF, and I didn't see the point of the color chart moving back and forth and it distracted me from watching the other part of the scene.
