Will Paint Shop Pro handle processing pics for prints better than my Lightroom 3?

Yes, no, maybe, I don't know.

That is like asking if a Ford will drive better than a Chevrolet. You need to provide more information like what the printing issues are that you are having now.

Yes I'll give an example. I PP a pic in Lightroom, send it to CVS, its darker than it was on my screen (after they print it). I figure well its CVS so I take it to a reputable photo place, same thing, image is darker than my screen. Look at it on a friends monitor, light is perfect again but they just don't seem to print the same.

I'm a big fan of lightroom 3.4

You cannot soft-proof in Photoshop Lightroom, nor in Photoshop Elements.

Lightroom's main purpose is image database management, so it is an incomplete image editing solution, which is what Adobe intended. Lightroom was designed to compliment, not be a substitute for Photoshop CS.

Photoshop CS5 has the soft-proofing capability.

I have never used PaintShop Photo Pro.

EDIT: I visited Corel's web site and had an online chat with their rep. You can soft-proof using PaintShop Pro X3.
