What was the largest panoramic image you created pixels wise and how many images you captured to build this image?

Just finished a 21,500x5800 from 12 images, but a lightweight at a mere 47mb compared to Scott's!

I think the difference of the file size is due to you and Scott saved your final image in different file format.

I've done some Gigipans up to 30,000 and 40,000 pixels wide.

Quite true...I don't compress my images for printing. But I will make 'copy' and save it as jpeg for uploading on flickr(that image reduced to 37Mb while being compressed). I have taken another that was 22,460 x 3255(but it had issues...so I 'canned' it).
