I have a Panasonic Lumix TZ5 that I recently purchased and have a week left to return it. I am wondering if it is worth it for $25 more to upgrade form 10X to 12X zoom and buy the ZS1?

I know that the TZ5 does HD Video and has a bigger screen (3" instead of 2.7"), and ZS1 does not have HD Video, but I don't know if those are really big factors in favor of TZ5, or if the extra zoom makes the ZS1 worth it?

The ZS1 is also known as the TZ6 which I believe is the replacement for the TZ5. Assuming Panasonic made forward progress over the TZ5 (and not a step back like we see at times), the answer should be obvious.

If the price difference between the TZ5 and TZ6 is only $25, then you paid too much for the TZ5 anyways.
