Thanks! I did do some panoramas but they didnt turn out as good as Id hoped.

Sky is okay but highlights are blown but the title infers Paris rooftops, not sky. I find your original shot to be dull and lifeless and while old town Paris is pretty dark and dingy there is still enough color to show life in the old gal.

Rooftops infer the tops of roofs, not foreground trees, nor a large sky. Rooftops. I opened up some shadows, cropped according to the title and did some distortion control. Just another thought this morning and my vision need never be yours...it's just another vision.

Thanks Bulldurham I agree with most of that. Here is another version I did which I like better I think. I try to be carful not to go to crazy with the color because I use to have a tendency to over do it. Apparently am dialing it back too far in the other direction now. lol

On a side note I dont rthink the monitor I am using to edit is calibrated correctly. The pictures dont look as I intend on my ipad or my wifes laptop. However they do look like what I intended on my Mac monitor at work. Go figure. On my Ipad I agree they look a bit more dull and lifeless and well as a bit darker to me as though the whites are turned down or something.

I'd still crop that sky just a bit above the sun and make it more about the rooftops than the sky or re-title to something like, "Summer Sky Over Paris Rooftops."
