So, last saturday was my cousin brithday and I lent my Nikon D60 to a friend of the family to take the pictures of the party. But it was totally a mess, because the photos was blurry and I didn't know how to change it. Was that the flash?
How do I can take good pictures in parties?

The amount of blur you get, is a result of the shutter speed and the ambient light. Flash can help to freeze your subject into a sharp image, but flash won't light up your subject and the background at the same time.

Try putting the camera into Manual mode. Set the aperture to F5.6 or F8 and use the flash. Experiment with the shutter speed. Anything from 1/125 to a full second.
