For basic YouTube video purposes I scored a few used Canon SL1 bodies on eBay, and a few used tripods for next to nothing. Last night I threw a party and ended up setting up two of these dirt cheap cameras in corners of my house, with cheapie speedlights alongside, then I handed out two of those $6 generic wireless remotes and told people to have fun and go crazy. I guess t's just like having a photo booth set up, but pointed right at the main areas where people were congregating. It was a total last minute half ass plan, but I think I'm going to do this at every party I throw from here on out, with a little more effort in setting up the framing or lighting, and I'm handing out like 10 of those remotes. People loved it, and now I can see what I can't remember from last night
