Party Time!!

Here are a few photos I took over the weekend for my nephews 2nd birthday. I'm always looking for ways to improve both my composition and look of my photos. So C&C is always welcome.

There's a nice smooth quality to all the shots. The sugar hangover shot makes me chuckle

I like the composition and expression in #3, but the standout for me is the first one. It is simple - just a shot of some cupcakes, but there's a pleasing depth of field and a very nice repetition of shape - the plate, the cupcake, the smile...all create a nice symmetry to the image.

Oh, and tell your wife she did an awesome job on those cupcakes!
