I love this bird.. and i am trying to improve.. very tricky for me to photograph because it is so dark.. and when i lighten then the colors gleam.. but what would be a more natural setting on the camera for this one.. or do you think it is okay the way it is...thanks..Sun just came out now..i am sure that would have helped.... when i took the photo all gray and cloudy...

Pretty. You could try a dehaze filter or slider on that 2nd one if you want more contrasty look but I like it as is.

thank you.. i think no matter what i need the sun.. at least have to wait and see how it goes when the sun is out.. i bet he would glisten beautiful without me doing much to enhance with false lighting..

I like the muted colors and light just as is but I downloaded it to my phone and used the Pop filter in Snapseed just to see how it would look.

Ideally you could selectively adjust the bird and leave the background nice and smooth. But couldn’t do that on my phone.

I think i am ready for him now...come back soon

I think that bird might be a European starling.
