I captured this little guy while visiting the Butterfly House in St Louis. It appeared to me he was "patiently waiting" for lunch (or a friend). I was intrigued with his "soccer ball" eye. C/C welcome. Thanks for looking!

Wow, was it your on-camera flash firing that defined his features this clearly? He seems to have reflector stripes on his wings!
I don't often like the use of on-camera flash, but here it looks like it helped the photo quite a bit!
Interesting DOF, too, the second antenna is all out of focus already but then the background is so "bland" ... second wing and second antenna almost look like shadows.
