Thanks WG. That was a bit of sky I think poking through the dark background of oak trees. I refuse to PhotoChop as my aim is to produce shots that depict the environment as nearly as I see it.

oh yeah, and I would check your monitor for color shift...that 'blob' is blue!

You are right, now that I checked, it is blue - my aging eyes probably need calibrating .
