pay-monthly contracts

So, I've gotta get a proper phone deal as right now I'm spending too much on my pay-as-you-go (£30 in two weeks whilst restricting how many txts I send....).

Anyone know of any good deals out there? I'll probably go from shop to shop at the weekend and play them against each other. O2 seem to have the best deal with 2000 mins and 1000 txts a month for £25. Idealy I'd want to keep my existing phone and number. I'm with Orange at the moment.
