Peaceful evening on the lake

This was at the family camp on oneida lake. So peaceful (once all the boaters head home). The geese and Great blue herons fly in to feed.

I see I have a dirty lens or sensor. GRRR!

I like both of these. Awesome silhouette, and very nice composition in the second. I just pressure washed the kayaks this morning. We haven't been out since 2017!

It's not your lens. The spots are on your sensor. Little dust motes on the sensor. Either have your sensor professionally cleaned, or learn how to do it safely yourself.

You lens might be dirty, but spots on the lens will not be in focus well enough to show up as spots in the photographs. Check the rear-most element for dust or fingerprints, and clean just as you would the front element.

Great care must be exercised in cleaning the very delicate sensor (which is behind the mirror, and you can't see it unless you first raise the mirror out of the way. Any dust on the mirror or in the viewfinder will not be on the photograph either.

Designer-thank you for the input. I thought it was the lens because it is the only time I see it, but probably because I only see the spots on the sunsets. We are getting ready to leave for Yellowstone and Tetons. No time to get it professionally cleaned beforehand. I’ll check the lenses over and plan to get it checked when we get back. Or I’ll use my other camera more so for sunsets. Thanks.

Nice pics, I like it when you get sparkles on the water like that and nice colors in the 2nd pic.
About that dirty sensor, I had the same problem recently with my T6. I watched a couple videos online and used the dry method first to try and clean it and it worked just fine. There's no need to use the wet method unless the dry method doesn't work. I only used an air puffer (don't touch the sensor) and about 3 very light brush stokes (no pressure). Very easy, you can do it, just be careful like you would when getting something out of your eye so as not to scratch it. It only took about 5 minutes to do it.
