I just haven't captured what I'm envisioning yet. It's at my workplace. When you stand at a certain point the trees frame some trees in the distance. Sadly with my "new" beater honda civic, I do not bring my camera to work very often. I need to bring it when there is better light one of these mornings and try again.

You'll probably need some sort of subject in there... And also, try to get the peeking-hole off-center a little bit.

I thought about that to. In my head I see an image that seems like a whirlpool, only trees instead of water. Pulling you into the subject. I need to bring my camera to work more often for that nice morning light.

Yeah I was also dreaming up a levitation shot too.

I would leave it centred as it is, but might consider a square crop...

You could

- work a bit with flatter depth of field
- use colour filters to enhance the contrast between different kinds of leaves
- place some out of place object on the grass in the centre (e.g. an empty wooden chair in white)
- use a radial soft focus filter () to give some dreamy look to the outer areas of the image
- work with long exposure and rotate the camera around the optical axis (requires a special tripod head / mounting though, or a lens ring mount as used for long tele primes).

Just ideas to inspire you ... not all of them might be good or help to achieve what you envisioned though
