Hello,

I super-proudly present few photos from our trip to Peloponnese peninsula in Greece that I've taken with good old analog camera .. I have still few rolls (5-8) to develop .. Photos below are not the best and the most artistic photos from the trip, I've rather tried to make a selection based on compromise to show the story and also some cool photos taken on analog camera in 2021, how they look like, sometimes even including the photos with people to support the storytelling ..

I absolutely love the look of these photos .. All taken handheld with Canon EOS 300x and kit 28-90mm lens on FujiFilm Color 200 .. I cannot express enough how I was shocked and astonished when I saw them for the first time .. I've used this camera after ~15 years because I am using only digital camera now - and I feel that this changed it forever because I am restarting my (occasional) analog camera usage, this is awesome ..

Photos are digitally NOT processed, they are just scanned from Film

A nice set of images. I've been to Turkey, but never to Greece.
Thank you Jeff !!! I only regret now how unpractical and expensive is anolog/kinofilm shooting .. On the other hand, how many photos from digital qualify to get it to the second level and above - 1/10 ? perhaps less, at least for myself, but the kinofilm, that's whole another story .. you have 36 shots per roll and it forces you to think twice before shooting, it forces you to actually do your the best to not waste your frame and after I developed photos, I was totally smashed because ~ 25/36 pics were amazing, amazing because of the nature of the analog itself and because of the nature of shooting with analog .. my relationship towards digital suffered severe hit that won't heal easily ..

Good photos and they bring back some fond memories. I toured Italy and Greece for a month in 1983, spending the final few days lounging on the beach in Vouliagmeni, Greece. What a trip! I still have the slides tucked away in a closet.

Very nice. Digital is great, don't get me wrong, but these have a certain je ne sais quoi that is very pleasing on the eye. Also, they are great shots (independent of the medium).
