Pentax AF360FGZII flash stuck in wireless mode

Somehow I've managed to turn the wrong thing and now have This $*&%# thing stuck in P-TTL W (wireless). The manual gives limited instructions on how to set it to wireless but nothing about turning it off. Anyone have a similar flash

Good suggestion. I pulled the batteries a couple times, replaced with new, but I didn't let it sit fot awhile or try to discharge the flash.

Even leaving it turned on when pulling the batteries. You want to make sure any capacitors discharge, too

@snowbear somewhere deep in the fog of my old brain I vaguely remember this happening once before and I believe you have to turn on the wireless while on the camera, then shut down camera and flash, then remove it. To get it off wireless is a similar on/off attachment method I apparently accidentally stumbled onto.

Well almost a year and once again the gremlin has struck. First it went P-TTL W long the hot shoe but I could attach the cable adapter and have P-TTL off camera with cable, then this morning turned off camera and flash, when I powered back up it went straight to P-TTL W. Tried everything. On a last ditch effort I mounted the flash to another body hot shoe, powered up everything working perfectly. Switched it back to the original body and now it working perfectly on it.

This $%^&# piece of crap flash, has reached it's limit with me. Last night needed the flash, mounted to hot shoe....went to ttl, nothing worked. Took it off connected to cable, and still nothing worked. Took out batteries, held the test button down for a few seconds, reinstalled batteries, connected to cable P-ttl popped up. This thing has been a thorn in my rear since I bought it!!!!!!!!!!! Time to look for a replacement!!!
