I thought about buying an adapter for this and using it on my fuji cameras, but given my proclivity for manual focusing, i figured it was never really likely to happen.
any Pentax shooters around that aren't put off by manual focus?
its pretty clean, 8 bladed aperture that works fine, mount looks good. pretty sure its a k-mount.
    threads are a little buggered.
im willing to ship this to someone free of charge if they are interested in actually using it. would be better than leaving it to collect dust here.
    just a few caveats:
your first posts on TPF cant be asking for this. (must be established and active member here)
must provide a pic of the camera you plan to use it with. (post it in this thread please)
US or Canada preferred. outside of that, if your willing to kick in some for shipping, we can
    talk.

I would likely give priority to actual Pentax shooters, but should none turn up that need this lens i will defer to mirrorless shooters that have, or will get, an adapter for it.
priority will definitely be given to someone who is currently shooting with manual lenses but still has a need for a fast 50mm. (kinda unlikely maybe? these things were pretty much on every camera back in the day...i dunno, guess we will see)

anyways.... like my old MMORPG groups, I would like to do this need before greed.
if noone has a use for this relic (i mean the lens, not me) ill just stick it back in the closet and see what turns up later.

    well, there it is.
if you want her, post a pic of the Pentax or mirrorless camera you plan to use it on and your current stock of MF lenses (if you have any)
im not going to run this like a regular donation thread since i assume the demand for it will be pretty low so i wont have a specific time for it to run.

I have an excessive stock on manual focus lenses, including a copy of that lens - which is fantastic. I paid over £100 for mine about 7 years ago. Admittedly I use the AF f/1.7 more often now, but the f/1.4 does still get used especially on the my MFT camera which don't support Pentax AF. It works rather well on a focal reducer.

I think you're quite wrong on demand for it.

As I've already got a copy & live the wrong side of the pond i wont bite your hand off for this but if there's no other interest I know another Pentax shooter at our workshop who might be interested.

Compiling a photo of my MF lenses would be a chore but here are a few shots taken with the M50/1.4 on specialist MFT adapters to encourage others. :)

    1st the focal reducer

2nd a tilting adapter (used to reduce apparent DOF)

For those who want more lens porn here's my latest MF lens in it's MK1 DIY mount

The helicoid I used for this was one I had lying around so the fixed aperture 50mm f/1.2 has too course a focus throw. (rear focal distance on this lens is very minimal - I ended up cutting a spare bit off the back to allow infinity focus on MFT). A more suitable helicoid is now on order but has cost more than the lens...

forgot about this lens . i just happened to open up a drawer and see it..."oh yea...this thing"
still no pentax shooters in need of a fast 50? any mirrorless users that like old MF glass?
shes in relatively good condition. i might get some wipes and clean her up a bit at some point.
    everything works great though.

Everything I have is Pentax!! I do have a 35mm ZX-M that's manual focus only that it would work on. Probably be better than the junk I have on it now. If you still have it and no one else wants it, I'll give it a whirl. Have some film I need to shoot anyhow.
