in case anyone was wondering about the first ones. There isn't much there. I liked the idea of the age with the younger kids running around a cycle of life thing occurred to me. And the first thing that drew my attention was her polka dot shirt and that he had the chair and she was on the rocks which I found peculiar. Then I noticed her staring around people watching, much like I was. Saw what I liked for a frame and snapped a photo of them.

the two guys appear to be father and son (they look awfully alike). what drew me to them was the hand motions but mostly the clothing. colors weren't coming out well but I noticed the clothing was near opposite. white sneaker, white hair. brown shoes, brown hair blue on shirt blue jeans etc. etc. and when they stood perpendiculiar to the rock formation then really stood out to me. Not much there, but that is what I saw.

funny, I was snapping one and the couple jumped out of the way and apologized for being in my way...:lmao: They were younger mid twenties no kids. I was really just rounding out every age group yesterday. no particular reason.


I am far from a street photographer, I have noticed im picking out some odd things looking at the public lately. weird patterns if you will.

Last shot, it was really just the shadow and footprints. Which is my normal thing to key into anyway. Most of my compliments from people I know seem to be I have knack for showing intimacy and warmth in people moments some how. Which, i've yet to understand im about the most abrupt and callous man as we come. I keep getting compliments on kid and mother daughter type shots, that sort of thing. oddly enough. :roll: You know, they cant say they like my car photo and most of my landscape stuff isn't even really liked. They cant like a "guyish" photo I get likes on children and women things or "warm intimate" type photos. :roll:


which isn't easy for a guy. I zoned in on two younger girls playing with hoola hoops at a store the other day, I found myself looking around to make sure no one saw me snap a photo. I don't want to get the strange looks of people thinking im a freak. if I was a female I would totally get away with that type of thing.

Judging by the way you explain it I think your biggest mistake is - you see the scene just like any other man would see it and then press the button hoping that this scene will turn into a good photograph. You need to learn to see things like a photographer before you start taking quality images.

Not big on people or street photography like this these were just sort of a "momentary thing". But I appreciate the comment and any suggestions here would probably go a long way as I know your experience level in street shooting.
