I went into town yesterday and hoping to see the urban Peregrines there and they was, Well he was. The female is a lot bigger than the male. As taking this photo, hubby said the female went into the nest on top of the grain silo. It's not a fantastic photo of the male as I don't have a 400mm or more zoom lens. I used 70-300mm lens and had to crop it a little. The grain silo was at the other side of the harbour from the supermarket so you imagine the distance.
I just wanted to share the Peregrines story as they was declining few years back and now they are coming back with fantastic success in breeding in urban areas. They mate for life. This is their 2nd year in nesting.
