Typically, with animals (and children)... if you get down on their level before shooting, the photo will make a greater connection with the viewer.

I liked it...but i think B&W conversion took away the contrast... can i see the original, please?

Subject's too dark I think... and also a little small compared to all the empty and distracting space. Maybe if you work the tones a little bit in the b/w conversion. You could increase the blues to make the goat brighter, and decrease the reds/oranges and greens/yellows.

Since the goat was facing towards the left of the frame, I feel like you should have placed it in the right side of the frame. This way it would kind of give it some space to move in the frame.
