It's a Pogona vitticeps, according to the sign on the terrarium, the first part of the name coming from the Greek word 'pogon' which means beard. Living in the dessert of Australia, beeing a ground-dwelling lizard that likes to sit between withered bushes and rocks to bask in a sunny spot, they flatten and darken their bodies to absorb more heat.
