Is it wild life photography when a zoo bear is released to the wild?

WILDLIFE .. is a hunt.. through marsh..rain sleet and if your lucky you will see a wild animal of some kind.although you may not get a photo of anything...lol....... zoo animals are wild animals in confinement..you will get a photo.. but you cannot get credit for the hunt...

It's only wildlife photography if you're in the cage at the same time as the lion.

For me I distinguish between an animal like a dog or cat which i call non wildlife as you keep them in your home etc. Then animals like wolves, lions etc are Wildlife as they do not reside in your home. While I certainly agree shooting in a zoo is not animals in the WILD they are in my mind still wildlife by definition. BUT I would never pass them off as being shot in the wild.
