This is a Heliconius charithonia. Once again my Sony's color registration was duped as has happened with some other butterflies. While the spaces between the black appear to be white in the photo, they are clearly yellow to the naked eye. Too bad. The butterfly certainly looks more appealing in person than it does to my Sony.

Looks like he's flirting with disaster eating that close to a spider web. Nice shot, I hate it when the camera just won't grab a color.
 
I don’t know if this is relevant in this case, but I was once told by a professional color separator (and an excellent photographer) that there are some colors we see in nature that are not reproducible because they include too much ultraviolet. The case in point then was the startling purple of the lobelia flowers.
