It is plenty interesting but since I have never seen this type of landscape it is hard for me to tell what I am looking at. I see the ridges and slopes but I am curious as to what it looks like in color.

Yep, colour here would be working better. In b&w those terraces don't create interesting pattern nor is there much of a drama.
