Photgraphic terms and forum terminology

It would be nice to have a page where photographic terminology is defined. Also it should include terminology unique to the forum. I am at a loss many times just trying to understand some of the abbreviations used in the posts. For instance the meaning of the word "bump" which is used quite often, eludes me.

It is annoying from time to time, and sometime because phrases and abbreviations seem to change meaning over time. FTW, for example, does NOT mean the same thing now as it did when I was a kid.

"Bump" is simply a way of forcing a post back to the top of the list. Just as when any post is added to a topic it will then show up on the "New Posts" list, simply "Bump"ing a post will force it back to the top so that it has another chance of being seen and commented on. Frequently used in "For Sale" posts.
