I've been using Photoscape for the past month. Very short learning curve and does most of what people need. Best of all it is free.

Buy your software on Amazon, if you don't like it, send it back, or go after the trials that companies offer. I've tried various software, and, to be honest, there is little, if any difference I see between the photos I take and the tweaking I want to see done in any software I have tried. John
