Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hey everyone,

my my wife is getting into newborn and gender reveal photography but we have a problem. We can't find a software program that is compatible with Chrome Book. Does anyone know if there is one or do we have to get a new computer? Please help! Thanks!

Do you mean the Chromebook laptop? - http://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/features/

Image editing and graphic arts professionals rely on desk top computers even though many other users are migrating to mobil devices.

The industry standard image editing software is made by Adobe Systems - Photoshop CC, Photoshop Lightroom, and the consumer grade Photoshop Elements,

Here is the minimum computer system requirements for Adobe Photoshop CC - http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/tech-specs.html
and for Adobe Photoshop Lightroom - http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/tech-specs.html
and for Adobe Photoshop Elements - http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/tech-specs.html

Depending on the amount of editing you do, you could use one of teh online software sets like Pixlr.

But computers are amazingly cheap especially for lower level desktops.

..gender reveal photography..

What is that?

Apperintly people these days have parties where they find out the gender of there expected baby.

Not sure why they would refer to it as "gender reveal photography" it would really be maternity photography if your photographing the pregnant mother or event photography if your photographing the party.

I would recommend getting a regular windows or mac computer. Chrome books are built with processors and graphics cards that are really only suited for web and word processing.

Maybe the doctors and nurses can't tell the difference.

What they do is have the Dr put the gender on a peace of paper in a envelope. They then give the envelope to a baker who makes a cake saying congratulations it's a boy, when picking up the cake they don't open the box to look until at the party. Or instead they may give the envelope to a friend who then goes and buys a outfit for a baby boy or girl and then wraps it up to be opened at the party.

Sounds like yet another money-grabbing scheme to me.
