Photo retouching- too much?

I personally prefer a little more texture in the skin, but overall it doesn't look bad to me. So, no, not too much.

I don't think it's too much at all. Quite a nice job actually. Although I too would like to see a little more texture in the skin, looks a little too smooth. Aside from that very nicely done. Got skills to pay em' bills.

Actually, if anything I think it's not enough retouching. You did a good job keeping a decent amount of texture in the skin while smoothening it. And the eyes are nice, not overly brightened and fakey looking. But don't forget about the smaller details, like fixing the eyebrows, smoothing the lips, and getting rid of flyaway hairs (both on the top of the head, and on the side of the neck). It's almost there, keep at it!
