Photos appear green on PC

Need help with a following problem:


When opened through various software (ACDSee, Adobe Lightroom…), just on one particular PC, photos transferred from digital camera appear green-ish, although they are not.

Anyone have some idea how to fix this?

green-ish sample:
Dropbox - .green.sample.jpg

and it is not green:
Dropbox - and.its.not.jpg


Any help is welcome.

That looks like your whole monitor went green! PC or application problem?

Try a different editor or viewer.

It is green on most viewers. My guess is that it have something to do with graphic card settings, I just can't seem to find exactly what.

If everything is green, I would try a different monitor. If the sample, is a screen capture, there is something wrong with the software because a screen capture doesn't look at the hardware.

Yeah, but strangely enough when same photos are being opened with some photo editor, like Adobe Photoshop or PhotoImpact, everything looks and works fine.

What colour space is set?

Windows Color System Defaults
Device Profile: System default (sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1)
Viewing conditions profile (WCS profile for sRGB viewing conditions)

I think that it is a right way to go for solving this issue.

Ok. Problem solved.

After ^ CameraClicker^ pointed me to the right direction I manually reassigned settings in Color management to sRGB IEC61966-2.1, although it was already assign as such and now everything is peachy.


Kudos to CameraClicker for spotting the path in order to solve this issue.
