Photos from SW Florida

great series, 11 rocks! and the owls are too cool, Are they in the wild or captive?

Thanks! I got lucky with 11. I was driving back home to Orlando on New Year's Eve, and that sunset started to light up the sky. I didn't think I'd find any good place to shoot some photos of it, but then I passed by a perfect field with those trees in the background, and it worked out great! That's actually my second attempt at sunset photography (with the new camera anyway), with the beach photos (including 12) from the day before being my first.

The owls and everything else here are wild. The owls were photographed on Marco Island, Florida. They're burrowing owls, and they're all over the place down there. They're pretty easy to find since their nests are usually blocked off by sticks and yellow tape, alerting people to their presense (and preventing people from building houses on lots in which they're nesting).

9 and 11 are my favorites, but they are all really good! beautiful shots!
