Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I guess I have two questions

What do you all think about putting photos on a disc instead of prints for customers?

Also I had recieved a disc from a photographer in the area but when I go to order them in different sizes it cuts of parts of photos why is that?

I sell prints and images on disc. To be more accurate, my customers must meet a minimum print purchase requirement before they can buy a disc of my images.

Parts of the photo get cut off because of differences in the aspect ratios. Most dSLR's make photos that have a 2:3 aspect ratio (4x6, 8x12). Other popular prints have a 4:5 aspect ratio (4x5, 8x10) or 5:7 aspect ratio (5x7). If a photo is in the 2:3 aspect ratio, to prevent distortion from just resizing the photo, some of it has to be cropped to make accommodate the differing aspect ratio.

If that's what the customer wants, that's what I provide.

Because they're processed to print at a specific size.

Different ratios betwqeen height and width for the different sizes.
