im just a starting photographer been practing for a month .. been using manual and auto settings .. i use auto settings first then manual to see how it works.. just wanted to post photos of my work its alright .. feels like im cheating on auto settings .. but thats how i learn right ?

nikon d40!!! was on auto settings tough .. using manual and auto same time .. expermienting with auto then go manual and use wat i learn and see from those photos with auto settings.. thnx btw ..

1 & 2 are good, except the lighting on 2 is uneven and distracting. 3 isn't understandable... at least at this size.

I think starting off with auto is a great idea, at least until you feel comfortable with composition and angles. I know what you mean by feeling like you're cheating though.
