Photoshop Layers

So long story short, I want to photoshop myself in the grass (I'm making myself look tiny) cutting the grass, but to make it realistic, I need some of the grass getting between me and the camera. Do I need a new layer for each blade of grass, or can I do it a shorter way? I need about 20 blades in front of me, so that would take forever. Is there an easy way to do this? BTW, I have CS5.1.

With out seeing the images you are trying to use then nobody can really say.

Yes, it is easy.
post a pic of yourself and a close up of some grass.

Use the selection tools and masking.
